Sing It Loud released their debut LP "Come Around" last year on Epitaph Records. They were signed to Epitaph after only a few shows together. Sing It Loud are on the light side of pop-punk which makes it interesting to be signed to Epitaph.

"Come Around," hit #44 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and they toured the entire Warped Tour. Their lead singer and guitarist, Pat Brown, sat down and spared a few moments to talk to us about their future tours, music plans and the excitement of Warped Tour.

CM: So how long have you guys been on this year’s Warped Tour?

Pat: We’ve been on the entire tour on the Hurley stage.

CM: Is this your first time on Warped Tour or have you guys done it before?

Pat: This is our first time playing it, but I’ve been coming to it for like 5 years, so it’s been a huge part of my life for sure. It’s like a dream come true. So many bands I look up to, and like a lot of bands that we’ve toured, with like Hit The Lights, The Maine, and All Time Low.

CM: Are there any upcoming tours you guys have planned?

Pat: We’re actually going home after Warped Tour and going to record our second record. Then right after that, we’re going out October 27th with The Rocket Summer and Forever The Sickest Kids.

CM: Is the tour going to be all over the nation or just East Coast or West Coast?

Pat: It is, it’s going to be all over. It’s full US.

CM: What’s your favorite state to play?

Pat: My favorite state to play is Ohio. It’s a really fun state to play. So is Pennsylvania. I also like playing Boston, Massachusetts as well.

CM: What was one of your favorite tours to play?

Pat: Last fall with Cobra Starship, Forever The Sickest Kids, and Hit The Lights. We had to ride a little elevator to get to the stage. One of my favorite tours we’ve been on.

CM: Do you write all the lyrics or is it a band collaboration?

Pat: Yeah, Kieren [Smith – Guitar and vocals] and I write the majority of the songs but the whole band definitely puts in their two cents in. We all write the songs together, its not just one person.

CM: Do you guys do some handshake or sing a song before you guys go on stage?

Pat: Yeah, we actually sing "The Mighty Ducks." We do, “Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack. Go Ducks!

CM: So what was your first show like, as a band?

Pat: It was a local show and there was a lot of people. We thought we were okay and it was our first show ever. It was July 14th of 2007.

CM: Alright, thanks for the quick interview!

Pat: Yeah, no problem. Later.
